- Pirates are
humbled in
opening game
of
Arklahoma...
Pirates jumped
out early on
the Cudas
8-3 after 3
innings, but
it wasn't
meant to
be...
The Cudas
came roaring
back with
consecutive
big innings
off the
Pirates
pitchers to
take the
lead 9-8.
The Pirates
only managed
1 run in the
next 3
innings and
fell to the
Cudas 15-9.
The Cudas
played very
well and hit
the ball
unlike any
other time
this season.
They
continued
the hot
streak by
beating the
favorite
Outlaws 6-5
in the
second game
of pool
play.

- Pirates
control the
Rangers once
again......
The Pirates
dominated
the Rangers
in a game
that looked
to be more
competitive
than it was.
With help
from the
White Sox
pitching
staff, the
Rangers
looked to
keep the
game close.
However, the
Pirates
jumped on
the Rangers
anyway with
a team
batting avg.
of .500
Also, Jose
Cueto hit
for the
cycle, with
the round
tripper
being in the
park.
The Pirates
look to be
warming up
right before
the
Shootout,
which looks
to be a test
of strength
with them
and the

Rangers squad...

struck out 12 Ranger
batters and never
allowed runner past
first base.
Offensively, Eric
went 3 for 3 with a
pair of doubles.
The Pirates cruised
to a 10 - 0 victory
behind eric's
leadership. In
the second game, the
Rangers struggled to

out of the gate.
But the second game
turned into a heated
battle that only
adds to the story.
With several key
